Summary of Pre-tasks Questionnaire

Prior to working through a list of scenario specific tasks, website usability testing participants were asked to respond to approximately 6 questions out of a pool of 12 possible questions. The 6 chosen questions asked to each participant were selected because of there applicability to a specific actor/user scenario.

Each question set included inquiries about general user interaction preferences when interacting with a vacation destination centric website. The question asked to each participant covered a range of topics including prior experience level, preference to technology, general website information gathering methods, interests in travel insurance, website behaviors and flexibility of itinerary.

To minimize potential biases, participants were not provided the website's URL before or during the questionnaire.
